Long story short: I've been taking photos since I was 8, I'm a total people person, and I genuinely believe senior year is one of the most important seasons to celebrate. But let me back up and tell you the full story!
When I was 8 years old, my grandpa (who I call Buzz) started bringing me along to ranches and horse races to take photos with him.
Okay, so this is kind of a fun story!
He's the editor of a horse and livestock magazine, and we would spend entire springs just shooting horses together. I even got published in the magazine a few times before I was 10, which I thought was the coolest thing ever!
I said yes, posted them, and people just kept reaching out! I never really stopped after that.
I did that for years, and then when I was 16, one of my friends asked me to take her sweet 16 photos.
I realized pretty quickly that I love the creative side of photography.
but what really made me fall in love with it? The people.
Getting to serve people, make them feel seen, and capture their story in a way that feels so them? That's what keeps me going!
When I'm Not Behind the Camera
Right now, I'm attending classes at the University of Oklahoma in Norman (BOOMER!), but I'm originally from Burleson, Texas, and my heart is still so tied to home.
My family is my biggest support system, and my boyfriend helps me with all the behind-the-scenes content and carrying my camera gear (bless him).
I'm very involved in my church and love learning about business and entrepreneurship, especially how these can be used to glorify the Lord!
I'm obsessed with Jesus (always my number one!), I love pouring into younger girls through small groups, and photography is such a perfect way to do that. Coffee dates and pilates are also high on my list!
My ideal night? Watching Gilmore Girls or OU football with friends and family. I'm an avid Sonic goer (Cranberry Limeade forever!), and Chick-fil-A is basically a food group at this point.
My faith is the foundation of everything I do, and that flows into how I serve every client.
Why I'm So Passionate About Senior Photography
All the decisions, all the excitement, all the feelings. It goes by so fast, and I think it deserves to be celebrated in the biggest way possible.
From our first coffee chat to your final gallery, I want you to feel so celebrated and seen. And with my senior model team, I get to be like a big sister and do the entire year alongside you. That's honestly my favorite part!
I was literally a senior last year, so I totally get how big this season is!
I love that I get to walk through this whole experience with my seniors.
